My 3 Cents on Using Twitter (for Marketing)

by Rocky Fu on January 12, 2009

Not mainstream yet, yet Twitter has persuaded bunch of corporations, big and small, to give a shot with it. Some marketers are shouting “Twitter is not for companies…” when Dell made $1 million in revenue last year via Twitter. This is a question you need to ask yourself:

  • Does Twitter not work as a marketing tool, or
  • you don’t believe it can work, or
  • saying that make yourself a social “expert”?

One thing I’ve learned in 7 years’ digital experience is that, you should always test it yourself before making a judgment. If it works, experiment and improve.
