FairShare help keep track of your content online and it just opened its service to the public, no more invite codes.
FairShare allows anyone creating text content to submit an RSS feed of their work and choose a Creative Commons license to determine how it can be shared. Users then receive license-specific results via RSS with detailed insights into how and where their work is reused. Its interface is fairly simple with clear instructions how to use it:
- Claim your work (blog, articles, poetry, recipes or any of your text work)
- Declare how you want to share your work
- Watch how others use and remix your work
If you are running media business like online news, you may want to see who is “stealing” your contents; for companies, it’s useful to watch how their press release spreads across the Internet.
Don’t worry if your company website doesn’t have RSS enabled; here is a tutorial on RSS.

If you don’t like the trouble to create RSS, you can try Copyscape. The Copyscape service makes it easy to find copies of your content on the Web. Simply type in the address of your web page, and Copyscape does the rest. Copyscape finds sites that have copied your content without permission, as well as those that have quoted you.
Copyscape Premium provides more powerful searching than the free service with no monthly limit. Batch Search can check your entire site for copies in a single operation. It also lets you search for copies of offline content by copying and pasting the text.
