I was tweeting this morning when failed to upload a picture to TwitPic
. As I’m new to use TwitPic, I was wondering whether I did something wrong. My username and password were not wrong as shown in the error message from TwitPic.Then, I did a search in Twitter and found something was wrong with the service itself:

That’s the power of real time search; it helps people find out what’s going on in real time. Other than Twitter, the following sites provide real time search as well:

  • Schoopler. It aggregates and organizes content being shared on the internet as it happens. Due to API limits, its Twitter results don’t seem to be as “real time” as that on Twitter.
  • Social Mention. It allows you to easily track what people are saying about you, your company, a new product, or any topic across the web’s social media landscape in real-time. Social Mention monitors 80+ social media properties directly including: Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, YouTube, Digg, Google etc.
  • FriendFeed. Just enter a search query as you always have, and see new results instantly stream in at the top of your screen in real-time.
  • Ice Rocket.
