  • The9, an online game operator, announced partnership with a beverage company “tianwo” on dynamic marketing.
    Under the partnership, tiaowo would produce soft drinks with the characters of the online games printed on its bottles.
  • Sina and Google announced strategic partnership on Monday.
    Sina would benefit from Google’s search technologies for its search and shared profit of adsense ads. Besides, Sina would also expect increased traffic from Google news.
  • China Yahoo partners with China online game operators to promote its email service.
    China Yahoo’s email service faces fierce competition from NetEase/163 whose mainly profit from online games and email services. As Yahoo doesn’t do online games and is not going to, the partnership with China’s main online game operators would definitely complement it to gain more email market shares.
